About us

Where it all began

A couple of months ago, I made my first raw juice from lingonberries I had picked in the Swedish forests (while looking out for big bears and wild boars!). The taste of the raw juice brought me straight back to my childhood best friends kitchen more than 40 years ago, having my first and only raw juice from strawberries, kept in the freezer with beautiful berries still inside the bottle. It tasted like heaven to me, and my lingonberry drink had that same unique taste of raw juice from fresh picked berries!

It’s an essential part of my life to gather family, friends and acquaintances around a dining table. Cooking for hours and days is to me an act of love to the people I care about. It does something to the spirit around the table when people eat something they truly enjoy; they get talkative, happy, connect and bonds are being built.

A while ago, I went on a holiday to the Caribbean island Aruba. In Aruba you eat a lot of taco, and it was the best taco I have ever had! Of course the tortilla was always fresh made, which is quite different from the ready-made ones we are used to eating in Scandinavia. I just had to find out how to make my own corn tortillas, and ended up buying my very own cast iron tortilla press. And as struck by lightning, the business idea of where I could merge my passions for food and people into an online store with food blogging, came up in my head! I have since worked determined and with great pleasure towards the realisation of this idea. And it feels like I am finally doing what I have always been ment to be doing! I will be giving it my all – and you are welcome to join me on the ride! Start up by trying one of my taco recipes, and imaging yourself being on a beach restaurant in the paradise island of Aruba where it all started!

Our market aim
We are aiming at the European market. At the time being we are shipping to countries within the EU and Norway. Due to Norwegian regulations we can not ship foods and beverages to Norway.

We will try to avoid using manufacturers in authoritarian regimes.

I´ve had a passion for food as long as I can remember. I can still bring out the taste and texture of my first elk stew served to me at the age of seven. I´v never had anything like it before!
